Helen Langhammer

Helen Langhammer brings a wealth of global experience into her role as a training consultant. Her corporate experience of over 20 years covers roles in field sales and training, coaching and consulting.

She has trained and consulted for a wide range of GMNCs from industries such as Pharmaceuticals; Hospitality; FMCG; I.T. Oil and Gas; Media and Logistics. Her assignments have covered several countries in Europe, The United States and across several countries in Asia.

She has extensive global experience in training and developing teams and this has led to a deep understanding of the cross-cultural diversity dynamics in teams. She is qualified to administer a range of psychometric tools and is highly skilled in applying each one to her clients' business needs

Her natural interest in people contributes to a style of facilitation that can be best described as warm, informal but very business focused. Aspire's clients acknowledge her special skill in relating to groups and making them comfortable enough to open up and express themselves.

Helen has been living in Malaysia for the past 12 years. In her spare time, like many Malaysians, Helen enjoys eating and loves trying new restaurants. She and her husband both love cooking so as a counter balance to those hobbies, she also enjoys keeping fit through yoga, cycling, swimming, walking and for the past 2 years, when most sane people are still sleeping attends a punishing bootcamp session 3 mornings a week.

Pete Pereira

Pete is an experienced facilitator and organisational change strategist. His corporate experience of 16 years covered roles in sales, marketing and HR strategy consulting.

Pete founded Aspire in 2002 and has since facilitated senior and functional teams from industries such as FMCG, Media, Logistics, Pharmaceuticals, IT, Academia, Advertising, Insurance and Banking amongst many others.

He has a particular skill in accurately diagnosing team issues and designing bespoke solutions. Newly formed, dysfunctional or high-performing teams alike have all benefitted from his methods of facilitation. Pete has become an integral part of the teams that he works with, owing to the emphasis given to the successful implementation of solutions.

He created two recent solutions in response to a growing need of the clients he typically works with:

  1. The first is a Leadership and Team Transition Program that was designed to create an opportunity out of the typical disruption to business when a team changes leaders or team members.
  2. The second is a facilitated Cross-functional Team-working solution designed to create greater cohesion and inter-dependence between functional teams.

Pete nurtures a keen professional and personal interest in the field of neuroscience. In his life out of work, he enjoys cooking, keeping fit and devising ways to keep his cats from destroying his orchids. The cats are winning at the time of writing.
