Effective Teamwork

Leading High Performance Teams
(Senior Management)
High performing teams tend to have the following characteristics:
Clearly defined goals and measures of success
Delineated roles and responsibilities
A clear understanding of the strengths of each team member
The ability to leverage on personal differences as strengths
An organic and well oiled code of conduct, and
An awareness of team developmental needs

The increased emphasis of team over individual contribution makes it critical for team members to acquire specific skills in team-working. Our experience suggests that team development programs are most effective when the intervention is well planned and executed over a 6 month to 1 year period. It is equally important that team development initiatives are supplemented with a tailored coaching plan for individual members.

What Results can you expect?
In the course of this program, you can expect team members to:
Understand team goals and their part in achieving them
Align personal goals to team goals
Understand the individual and collective strengths of team members
See differences as strengths
Surface and resolve conflict objectively
Align behaviour to the agreed code of conduct
Become more effective as individuals and team members

Who will benefit?
We strongly recommend this intervention for senior management teams or long-term project managemen teams.
